Debbie Chin completed the first Leadership NZ programme in 2005. Today she is has the privilege of leading Capital & Coast District Health Board.
Debbie credits Leadership NZ with allowing her me to see leadership from many different perspectives. She believes leadership is one of the most important responsibilities she has had in her life.

Edward Cook completed the Leadership NZ programme in 2009 and in 2011 ventured to the UK where he works with young people in an organisation that is growing rapidly.
Edward credits Leadership NZ with the skills and awareness that were instilled in him through the leadership programme and that have helped him be instrumental in driving the growth and appreciating the need for change in communities.

Leadership NZ was delighted to host the graduation of the 2014 Programme participants at Q Theatre, Auckland on 22 November. With MC, alumnus Steve Ferguson, the Hon Tariana Turia as guest speaker, together with guest appearances from “Superwoman” and “Captain James T Kirk”, the evening was a great success and a fitting way to wrap up this year’s programme (which is the 10th programme to graduate since our inception). Another 33 amazing NZ leaders have joined the Leadership NZ alumni and are now connected and committed to shaping and leading Aotearoa.

We celebrated the graduation of the 2014 Leadership programme - the 10th programme year of Leadership NZ. 33 amazing, authentic leaders have now joined our alumni. The Hon Tariana Turia encouraged them to be catalysts, champions and change-makers focussed on transformation: “to go out there and make the very best of what you have learnt and our nation will be better for the difference you will make”.
